Fluted MDF Wall Panel - Paintable

Each panel is supplied unfinished and ready to prime and paint, so you can choose any colour to suit your space. Panels are made from moisture-resistant MDF, making them suitable for kitchens and bathrooms as well as living rooms and bedrooms (not for areas in direct contact with water).

The fluted design runs vertically and continues across neighbouring panels for a seamless finish, and panels can easily be cut to size at home.

Fitting Instructions for Fluted Wall Panels

Measure from the top of your skirting board (or the underside of any coving) and cut panels to height using a mitre saw, table saw or track saw. For external corners, mitre the edges at 45° and join with wood glue and clamps, then lightly sand. Fix to the wall using a grab adhesive, adding panel pins or nails if needed, and use temporary supports to hold the panels in place while the adhesive sets.

Once fitted, lightly sand any rough edges, fill and seal any gaps, then apply a primer followed by thin coats of your chosen paint, allowing each coat to dry fully. The green core of the MDF may show on cut edges but will be covered once primed and painted.

Please note: these panels are not fire rated, so should not be fitted directly next to a heat source such as a hob or the opening of an electric fire.
